Stephanie Alcalde is a longtime resident of Central Florida. She has long aspired to be an attorney dating back to middle school. To help advance her career goals, she attended the Law Magnet Program at Boone High School before attending the University of Central Florida, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and a minor in Criminal Justice. Stephanie received her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2014.
While studying at Florida A&M University College of Law, Stephanie participated in a variety of leadership activities, serving as an Executive Board member for both the Student Bar Association and the Hispanic American Law Student Association.
Stephanie continues to stay active in the community and is involved in the Teen Court program in Orange County, where she serves as a Jury Adviser and guest Judge. Stephanie has volunteered with Teen Court since she was in high school where she would serve as an attorney or jury member.
Stephanie has also continued to participate in professional organizations such as the Orange County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section, Hispanic Bar Association of Central Florida, Central Florida Association for Women Lawyers and the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court.
Upon being admitted to the Florida Bar, Stephanie joined a family law firm in Central Florida. In 2016, Stephanie opened her own law firm where her primary focus was family law. In 2017, immigration was added to the firms areas of focus. Stephanie has handled divorces, both contested and uncontested, paternity cases, child support, modifications, domestic violence injunctions, custody cases, alimony, prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements, family based petitions, and naturalization.
