About Attorney Juanita Gomez LaRochelle
Juanita’s journey to becoming a dedicated family law attorney began in her home country of Colombia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial design from Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano. Her academic pursuit eventually led her to Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida, where she obtained her Juris Doctor.
While at Barry, Juanita demonstrated her passion for family law by serving as an associate editor for the Children’s and Family Law Journal and participating in the Collaborative Family Law Clinic. In these roles, she gained hands-on experience in collaborative family law cases, honing her ability to help families navigate complex legal matters with empathy and care.
Juanita’s dedication to the well-being of children also shone through her volunteer work as a Guardian Ad Litem in Osceola County, where she served as a voice for children in need, ensuring their best interests were represented.
